FYI/navi update

My lady friend got the a new updated Navi DVD disk for her 06 Rl. Since it is the same update for my 06 TSX I put it in my reader to see if there were any new features. There was a few new items, but not worth $185. Anyway, went to put my old navi disk back in, and no go. Once you put a new disk in and update the firmware, you can't go back unless you have the dealer reset the reader. I also notice the the new disk caused the Navi to work a bit slower. Glad my dealer had night service.

Before doing any update, make sure to check the navi site. They list updated mapping areas by state. I'm still using my early 06 disc (4.31 I believe?) and will continue to until they update something anywhere around where I drive.
