Fuck Vandals
Buy a Helms factory manual for your car, and learn to crimp or solder... or pay someone to do that same exact thing.

Look, I'm sorry you got jacked up, really I am. But if you're not going to insurance it, and you want to make a project out of it, it's probably not a realistic expectation to get an online forum to replace the OEM manual. In doing this kind of project, other forum members have found that for something SO complex, you really have to own the manual. It's not like speaker wiring.
You are not asking about something that anyone here is likely to have done before themselves, so there's no one to write an FAQ or a DIY - except maybe you.
And quite frankly, your story about not submitting the insurance is not very plausible and many people aren't going to want to spend hours helping you with a story that doesn't really seem to make any sense, and in doing something that seems irrational to most of us (doing this project).
The people who have retrofitted nav systems all bought the manual as far as I know.

Hey thanks. I dont have a problem with buying the manual . As far as the plausibility for of my "story" is concerned , I don't see what makes my situation so dubious or unique. The bastards broke into my car , tore the dash up and snathched the navigation out . Acura wanted 9000 dollars to replace everything (including the dash and wood grain) . I have replaced everything on my own up until this point and I don't see what the hell is so hard about restoring the navigation. As for me being a fucking "pioneer" , I dont really agree with you. There's a DIY on here about putting Navi in a CAR THAT NEVER HAD IT !!! So I dont know what the hell is giving you the impression that this project of mine is so impossible ....... I know there will be some snags , but damn . IT CAN BE DONE !!!
