How much room is there for speakers in the front doors of the '01 CL-S? From the outside it looks like I could go with a three way system (tweeter in stock location with mid and sub-bass in door).

Also, anybody have any success keeping the stock head unit with an otherwise high end system? I'll thinking about going with Dynaudio for the front and rear, Phoenix Gold Amp, and JL Audio Sub with a line level converter from the stock head unit. Is the line level converter a big compromise (weak link in my system) or will it do alright?
