Post Focal Utopia 136W

I just found a website that will sell the component set for $489.00 plus shipping. T think that's a killer deal. The mounting depth is 66.5mm which is approximately 2.6 inches. I am just wondering if this will fit in our doors.

Anyone has any experience on these speakers?

A 2.6" depth should be fine as long as your spkr adapter is 1" thick. The stock Bose speakers are just under 2.5" thick so it should be fine. Anything deeper will hit your window when it goes down.
No experience with that gear though.

man, that's one heck of a deal! that's about the same price i got my diamond hex's for. you can always make a trim ring out of 1/2" or 3/4" mdf or plywood to act as a mount for the speakers. it'll push it out a bit for back clearance and also add some sturdiness to the door panel for a somewhat better sound.

Sam that's a good deal for the focals. Just watch the amp that you end up with. Not to much power.

I am going to use an Orion amp with 62.5 watts each channel running to them.

Ron just told me that the signal going to the amp behind the seat is full range signal, so that should make the install alittle easier. All I have to do is run a set of speaker wires from the amp. in the trunk to the speakers in front.

Ok, my final price with shipping for the Focal Utopia 136W is $474.00. This person does not take credit card nor paypal, only personal checks and money order. We have been emailing each other back and forth and I am going to order from him, hopefully, I'll get my product. From chatting with him through email, it seems like he is legit. If everything goes well, I'll let you guys know his website.

And to add to that....I will hopefully be getting an account with Focal direct, so when I do, I will drop some prices on you all and see what you think
