Focal Speakers

Whats good y'all? I'm looking to upgrade my sound system in my 99 ack TL. I'm think about but getting a component set of Focal Access A1s. Any1 have any experience with these or have any suggestions? Im looking to keep it in the 200-250ish range for this set.

I honestly have never heard the Focal Access ...but I do have K2P's getting 75w RMS a piece ....they sound nice - have decent boom and crisp highs. I do know that the K2P uses different tweeters (TN52) so I don't know if they're comperable to the Access.

Have you looked at CDT components? I've heard good things about them and they seem to be fairly priced ...but I haven't heard those either.

Can you heard the Access components at an audio shop in your area?

I was talking with the guy at tha audio shop and he was sayin that the lower end focal stuff wasnt that good. Only when u get into the 500+ range is when they stand out...So, I ended up getting tha Alpine Type S comp set. I was about to get the Type-R set, but the speaker was too deep for the front panel. They sound good tho.
