the access series sounds great if you don't plan on adding any aftermarket amps to your setup. If you want some real clearity then go with the 165v2 in the front, they sound bad ass with an aftermarket amp. i wouldn't spend too much money on the rear speakers cause you can bearly hear them. they are just used for rear fill, plus you sit in the front anyway and you want most of your sound staging up front at the face.

I had access comps in my tsx in oem location they sounded nice. I swapped them for the 165kp and noticed a big differance in SQ. Any focal speaker will give you much better sound than the stocks but you might want to consider a better amp to bring out their full potential.

thank you for the reply. flaw-ls, so what to you recommend for the rear if I have the FOCAL ACCESS 165 A1 up front? I already have the Boston SL95 for 6x9. By the way, the bass is a lot more tight.

Do you think the OE Amp is able to handle 165V1??? Or the 165a1 better??

165a1: 60W/120W
165v1: 70W/140W
