First System Ever

Wow, it seems like there are a lot of crazy audiophiles in here. I'm used to hearing names like JL, Kicker, Phoenix Gold, and PPI. Haven't heard of hald the stuff I see in those $2000 systems. Anyway here's the deal. I have a three part question which requires too much searching around for the answers so if some of you guys who know a little something about TSX Audio Setup can throw in your thanks!

Here we go...
1. If I decide to keep my factory headunit, will I have a problem trying to run my RCA cables from the headunit? Is there even a amp out in the stock headunit?

2. In the case of there nto being an amp out, is it okay to just run my audio straight from the back of my 6x9's into the amp? I know there the whole deal with minimal power and distortion coming through, but is there a component I can buy that'll clean the sound up a bit?

3. I'm thinking of spending a mere $400 or less on a Memphis PR600 Amp and 2 10" kicker L7's, is this a decent setup? Once my next business deal goes down maybe I can start investing more into a more high end system, but for now this class is what I'm looking for.

Thanks for your help in advance.

how much bass are you looking for? i like the tc2 from soundsplinter, but nobody on here really wants to try em out.....hahaha the tc2 is a great sub =D

if you want alot of output id recommend the tc2 or koda 10. i recommended a koda 10/ creative sx10 to accsuperstar and he really likes it. epkim is just hit me w/ a PM and ill help u out.

I don't have any experience with the Memphis amps.

With today's woofers, I tend to suggest 1 12" over 2 10", especially with the armor plates in the folding rear seat impeding upper frequencies from the sub. (Some people have liked 10" because they have sounded "tighter" or "faster", but I strongly doubt that the TSX would allow this sound without folding the seats down...)

Hey Elduderino,

You think 2 10"s would sound good with the 6X9s removed?
