just wanted to know would it be ok if i install 3 ways for my front door speakers. Do the factory setup have a crossover?? I just dont want to mount 3 ways in the doors while the crossover ( if there is one) only sends lower frequencies to the door speakers. Therefore the 3 ways would be pointless. Anyone know/?? please help. I have a 99 CL 2.3. i think its non bose..

 

I know for a fact that the crossover is built into the tweeter in the dash. What I'm not certain about is if the door speaker receives its feed from this crossover (I assume it does). If this is the case, the your 3-ways would not receive the higher freqencies.
