Used approx 200 sq/ft of dynamats extreme....layed the entired car.

All 4 doors: 2 layers @ door skin, 1 layer at innter door.
Under carpet, 3 layers.
Back seat, 1 layer
Trunk 1 layer of cheap dynamat
Front wheel well, 2 layers cheap dynamat
Hood (under hood liner) 1 layer cheap dynamat stuff.

Only thing left is the trunk lid..should be simple.

Damn i'm tired...took 2 full days!!!! :wow:
Yes, car is heavy as hell now..probably another 50 lbs extra..but heck, quieter than Lexus

Yeah but it's gonna smell like sh!t when it gets hot. I used Dynamat on my rear doors when I ran out of Cascade and I can still smell that sh!t when it gets warm. Gonna re-do the doors with Cascade once it warms up a little.

I'm sorry..it's not dynamat..when i said cheap dynamat, I meant the dynamat "replica" which look/feels exactly like dynamat (black tar with aluminum backing) but for about 1/5 of the price. Doesn't smell either.
Anyways, dynamating the whole caris a Pain in the a**!!! damn, i basically have to strip everything out ...will never do this again!!! ever!!!

My hats off to you random....that is some dedication. I really have not done any in the TL. I did the front doors in my MDX and that was a pain in the arse. I could not imagine doing the entire vehicle.

I have a layer of extreme around the trunk lid and I just cant get the trunk lid to stop vibrating... any ideas??? I cant stand the f-ing noise of my trunk rattling... if I do another layer the trunk lid will be too heavy and the springs will wear... WTF?
