Finally, my audio system is in!
I posted this in the 2G TL forums but I thought I'd share it with rest of you.
After almost a year of undecided planning and saving I am happy to say that my audio system is finally in!
I wanted a system with good sound quality without spending an insane amount of money.
parts:
Alpine CDA-9887 (head unit)
Alpine MRP-M1000 (mono sub amp)
Alpine MRP-F300 (4 Ch. amp)
Power Acoustik 2.0 Farad capacitor
MB Quart RVF 164 Midbass speakers (front door)
MB Quart QXC 213 crossovers (front door)
Infinity Reference silk dome tweeters (front door)
Alpine Type S coax speakers (rear doors)
Alpine 12" type X subwoofer in a sealed custom enclosure
about 60 sq ft. of Elemental design eDead V1SE
No factory wires were used.
Although I am still in the tuning process, I am very impressed on how everything sounds. Very clean, just what I wanted. The type X hits clean and hard as well.
Let me know what you guys think.

One of the pictures show a cover for the amps. When the cover is on, no wires are exposed. Just the top of the amp.

Looks good... +1 for the eDead!!! Most guys fail to realize how important sound deadening is. And another thing, with the 9887 you can run active. If I were you I'd run the tweets of the radio's amp and bridge the 4 channel to my mids and ditch the passive x-overs!
