fiberglass question

i am planning on fiberglassing my sparetire well on my first gen CL. What kind of fiberglass do most people use? I have been looking at an #3733 E-glass, would that work well? i am planning on orderin it from http://www.aircraftspruce.com/menus/cm/index.html

any advice would be great

e-glass is fine... honestly, I've seen grille cloth used as the base on curvy sections with great results.

Just ventilate... we don't need any fewer brain cells on the Internet...

Cured Waxed Fibreglass Resin is the best for building custom fibreglass enclosures. You can buy the cheap matting or nice matting it really depends how much money u wanna spend. The nicer matting is weaved really nice like cloth. The cheaper stuff looks more like materials you would use for building a house=)

But any type works. For resin definitely use the waxed curing resin
