Fat Mat??
http://www.fatmat.com/
What do you guys think about this stuff? I have never heard of it. Does anyone have it? It seems to be less expensive than the alternatives like dynamat and brown bread etc.

Although there are better sound dampers out there, one thing about fatmat is that for that low price (compared to dynamat and cascade), you can still apply two or three layers since they sell in pretty big quantities....i'm sure that would make it pretty damn solid.

i got some this week. i figured i'd try it out as the weight/cost of dynamat was a bit much. some of the others (ss/brownbread/cascade/etc) seem to have this and that but im not really pushing anything crazy i just wanted something to help. i am planning on putting it in my trunk/backseat and doors this week or next so we'll see i guess

As recommended by El, I used Cascade Audio products. I installed 2 layers of VMAX (peel and stick) and finished off by replacing the plastic vapor barrier with 1 layer of VB2 (requires a heat gun). So far it is just installed in my rear doors ... all I can say is WOW ... the doors are so much "tighter" / "denser" ... I am very impressed with their products ...
