False floor...

how much would it cost to get a mdf trunk floor inplace of the trunk mat?

sheet of MDF doesn't cost much....go to home depot...

Why not but the MDF,

Take out the mat in the trunk and trace it, cut with a jig and then sand it down to fit

i wouldnt pay someone more than like 50 bucks for that, not that i would pay someone in the first place...

Real easy, like was said before. Trace, cut, carpet/vinyl, install. You need to use pieces to lift it if you are wanting to put things underneath.

Just get some papaer or cardboard....trace....the cut with a jig saw. It would cost no more than $25.
