I have an 2006 Acura TL and I don't have Navi but have come across a unit and wanted to know if the car would already be equipped with the necessary hardest for a simply plug in a play.

I would highly doubt it since usually the unit doesn't have the map cd in it. I have an rdx and the cd with the maps for the navi is located somewhere else in the vehicle.
