I have a 07 rdx with the ipod wire in the glovebox and do not use it, my question would be is there a way to leave it and somehow convert the ipod end to a audio in for my headrest dvds. I searched for an adapter but no one makes it backwards like I want.

 

No, you're not going to find anything like that. However, you could use and aftermarket part like usa spec or dice to just add an auxiliary input to your HU.

 

DICE Electronics makes an iPod interface for your RDX that has an AUX-IN plug as well. You can pipe your audio from those headrest monitors right into it. It would pop up as another source on your factory radio.

I did see them but was hoping to be lazy...lol. Was hoping to just make a connector or buy one but I am not sure if it can be used without an ipod. Looks like I may have to pull it out anyway.
