Factory audio

2004 TSX --
Original factory sound system. Sound from rear deck speakers is way less than from the other six. Tech at the dealer suggests that I just don't understand how a fader works.

Anyone have experience with anything like this?

The sound from the R deck speakers is pretty low bass only. The only way to actually hear their output is disconnect all the opther speakers. They play no midrange, which our ears usually associate with loudness.

I suggest this particular tech at the dealer needs more training.

Thanks --

Way more logical answer than i got from the dealer. Still, I'd like to get more volume out of them...

Why? Not a smartass question, just a question - why?

Because the sound is unbalanced -- favors the fronts instead of an all-over sound. Acura did so well with every other aspect of the car; just seems like the sound system was kind of an afterthought.
