Error-1 from CD changer after battery reconnection

Hi, I disconnected the battery to replace the HID bulb. When I reconnect the battery and input the radio code the CD changer showed "CHECK" and then "error1". Radio works fine. 2003 TL. 6 CDs inside. Every time when I turn on the power (radio is still off) there is sound of motor from the CD changer, like it's changing CD inside. The same sound appeared when I turn off the power. I got the same check and error-1 code when I turn on the radio. No response from load, eject or selection button. I have tried banging and disconnecting and reconnecting battery. Did not work. Anybody can give me some suggestions? Don't want to bring it to dealer at this moment. Thanks!

See if something got jammed....

Try this.... during its changing sound... Bang the passenger side of the radio with your palm. See if it can shock it into catching. Trays could be a little misaligned....

Also I have a step by step way of removing the tray and fixing the changer. Just search

grab your bottle of baby powder (if you don't have one please go get one, it comes in handy with females as well) lather up that right hand of yours and smack her with authority. I've had this issue intermittently for the past few months & that solves it every time. that or disconnecting the battery again. its one of those things that comes with age on our cars.
