Any advice on HUs?

I was looking at this combo, but don't know if it would work well as my main head unit. I'm not a sound pro.

Hey, I'm kinda partial, but if you can spend the extra cash...you've got to go with the Kenwood 911.....

Its just fawking sweet...

 

Why the kenwood? By far the pioneer has a better display quality. Mantis, what questions you got about the pioneer shizz -- I got all my equipment in the sig.

I've had a few experiences with Pioneer stuff....entry level and mid level stuff...

This was like 5 or 6 years ago, but all 3 of the pioneer decks that I had broke after like 8 months of use....

ever since then, i've stayed away from pioneer. Exept for the handmade elite home stereo stuff. That line is worth the extra cash.

 

i have the pioneer avx-p7300dvd unit in my tl and i have to say that unit is crazy nice.... i have heard to many people have problems with the kenwood display..... just my $.02

 

Get one of those new Alpine HU's...i'm getting the 7998 once it comes out...very nice HU's..
