I'm interested in enhancing the sound in my stock audio system. Should I start with an amp and switch out speakers? Or start with amp and new sub? I don't want to use a box for the sub(takes up too much room). Can I get a free space sub to replace the stock sub? Anyway, I'm not looking to do anything crazy, just enough to enhance the sound. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Get new speakers and an amp. IMO, with sound deadening and good speakers, you don't need a sub depending on the type of music you listen to. I hate giving up space just like you.
