i've always been a little timid about choosing eclipse stuff. Don't get me wrong they make great stuff, but i've also seen that unless you a fanatic about taking care of stuff, they tend to be a little fragile. That being said I've seen slightly better reviews for the Kenwood i think, and in the few times i've played with it I've been mightly impressed with its ease of use.

I still do not think anyone can beat Eclipse for sound quality and build. Also, I have yet to see a picture better than theirs. That being said, they do not offer any add ons. IE...navi, sat radio, tv tuner or others. The Kenwood offers all kinds of add on options. I just sold my AV-8022 tonight and I am pretty sure I am going to replace it with the DDX7015.

Eclipse, in my opinion, can not be beat. But, they have a downside like I listed above. If top quality and no frills is your goal. Eclipse is the best.

Just got it a couple weeks ago so it's not installed yet, waiting for the rest of my toys to come in and I'm also building a custom trunk, so hopefully in a couple weeks I'll have some pics. njprettyboy actually has the same unit and here is his installed. They had to custom fabricate the dash kit

I saw the pics. That looks really good. I am pretty sure the double din will mount up to the factory brackets. All you need is a trim ring around it. I might get ahold of StreetEffectz to see if they could sell me just the trim ring and not need my vehicle to do it. Let me know how it goes. I am going to be getting something in the next day or two but, it will probably be next week before I could install anything.
