Easiest way to add DVD or TV to Navigation

I want to know the easiest/cheapest way to play dvds or have television to my navigation screen. AVELECTRONICS offers a converter but it cost $525. Kinda harsh.

Good. Fast. Cheap. Pick any two.

Talk to Ron at streeteffectz.

Personally we use NAV-TV at my shop. They are a little more expensive than most but the products are beyond easy to use and their tech support (atleast for dealers) is great. If I were you though I, too, would suggest talking to Ron.

Depends on what features you want. I use both units. The AVelectronic unit is nice because it's plug and play, and it's now a 4 channel wireless video switcher. The Nav-TV unit is good too, I like the picture on it. However, it's only a single input w/backup camera input on it, which we do use as a second video in when needed.

I've know Moni from Nav-TV for a few years now. Great guy, and their tech support is phenominal. I've also know the guys from AVelectronic for the past couple also and have nothing but good things to say about them.

For ease of install, the AVelectronic unit is better since it is full plug and play and I can offer it to you at a slightly better price than the $525 + shipping. Probably do it more like $500 SHIPPED. Even the NAV-TV unit I can do better pricing on for all the guys on this forum

Does Nav-TV still use a "universal" RGB unit for the acura, requiring individual wire taps with the RGB wires outta the nav box? (Talked to them at CES last year about this...)

Yup. But they have since upgraded the kit, and there are adjustments internally to match it to the video levels of particular vehicles to get a pretty flawless picture.
