Not yet, but I will be using a bunch of it this summer. I have however heard from multiple users that this is the best stuff for the money. And 2 of those guys have run most of the deadeners out there: dynamat extreme, damplifier pro, etc. and they still standby raamat...

Cool.

Yeah I like the price point.

Are you going to use the RAAMmat BXT™ or Ensolite™ MLC?

Or does one work better for a certain scenario?

The Raamat BXT is actual deadener. The Ensolite foam is just a closed cell foam. I will be using both (whenever I get around to glassing in my trunk). The Raamat will be completely covering all inside trunk faces (I think I can get away with 2 layers throughout the entire trunk for comps) except the area where I will have fiberglass. Between the glass and sheet metal, I will place some Ensolite foam to keep the glass from vibrating against the sheet metal...

So where is it appropriate to use the foam exactly?

I spent Sunday putting eDead80 in my trunk. I was installing a rear-view camera and took the opportunity to do the trunk. I didn't cover then entire trunk, that seemed like overkill for me. I concentrated on the inside rear quarter-panels and the trunk lid. Once you take out the trim you can reach around the passenger side and get some deadener on the wheel wells. Use the "knuckle" test to see what is still 'ringing' and what needs a little more. I used 20 sq feet in the trunk. I'm guessing if you did the entire truck with 2 layers you are looking at 50-60 sq ft. Probably diminishing returns after awhile but it is your call. Doing the trunk actually made a very noticeable difference. I didn't deaden because I'm putting a subwoofer in there, just wanted to cut down on road noise. This weekend I'll work on the door.

The eDead 80 worked really well and is 80 mils vice 60 mils of the RAAMat. If you join the Ed forum you can find a 20% off code for all eDead products.

Wow 200 sq feet! That's a ton of eDead... we not quite 2,000 lbs but close FYI.. each 30sq ft roll of eDead 80 weighs 20 pounds.

Might have to upgrade your trunk springs now to gas shocks...I've seen some people do that on the CL.
