DVD + Headrest Monitors...Questions

I did some searches on the forum and couldn't find anything...mostly NAV to DVD mods. I'm thinking of installing a permanent DVD + monitor solution and was browsing eBay. I found a DVD player that looks like it is small enough to fit in the center console.

Pyle PLDVD86 Mini Mobile DVD MP3 CDR Player ($99 new)

I also found some Pyramid 7.2 monitors for $92 each with headrest brackets. Check out the brackets - click the link.

Anyone have any experience with this stuff? I am concerned it would look like crap with loose wires or poor quality video, but I don't want to pay thru the nose for a Best Buy Headrest/DVD system ($1500) either!! Pics would be helpful if you have them.

A word of advise, you get what you pay for. The problem with pyle is that the quality sux, and I am talking from experience. As for the head rests find an upholstry shop and they should be able to convert those stupid headrests. Then buy a nice Alpine 900 or Eclipse(plays everything). For the back audiovox is great, I have them and the 5th person who sits in the middle can watch either TV cause the viewing angle is that good. I hope this helps and good luck.

hey eddieXo if you are looking for cheap monitors you might want to look into either farenheit (or how ever you spell it)... or maybe nesa vision... and for the dvd player i would say look at the icon dvd100 it is really small and has great quality... or you may want to look at a portable type like the panasonic pdv-40...
