DVD-AUDIO in 05' TL?
DVD-AUDIO in 05' TL?
Hello everyone!
My mother has had an 05' TL for about one year now. This vehicle comes with the ability to play DVD-Audio discs. We have obviously have had success in playing store bought DVD-Audio discs, but have had zero luck in producing our own. It may be because of us using -R discs which the Acura manual states the 05' TL does not like.
I recently found Toast Titanium 7 and tried using the Music DVD format in the application to burn a DVD-Audio disc. The burn successfully creates the neccessary VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders, but the car still does not like the disc and spits it out.
My question to all of you with TL's is: Have any of you tried to burn a DVD-Audio disc and been successful? I have heard of a program called DiscWelder (something to that notion) but have not been able to locate the similar program for Mac.
Any tips or suggestions are highly appreciated! Thanks

The problem is the standards that you are using within the program you use to make your DVDs.
For instance, a red book burned CD will play in any CD player - its the standard and should work in all players 99.9999% of the time. There is a standard for DVD audio (forget its name), but it will only be available in either professional level audio editing programs with surround capabilities (like Sonar or Cubase) or a pro level movie editor (like Vegas). I'm sure there are stand alone programs that can burn the standard, but I don't know of any offhand.
