Im about to get my seatbelts back from myairbags, they couldnt reset the SRS module due to internal hardware issues so I have to get a new one. My questions is: Can I drive my car without the SRS module and not have any problems like the other airbags deploying or something like that until I can get a new module. Keep in mind Im going to have the new belts in along with the new airbags. Just dont want to make a stupid mistake that would blow my airbags that I purchased, the only reason I need to drive it is to get it inspected this month. Please help me in this sticky situation

Just dropped my '01 CL off at an Acura dealer today so they can diagnose why my SRS light is on. Dumb. I really hope it's nothing, or at least anything expensive! Tired of that light on the dash

 

Acura dealer said it was the seatbelts causing the SRS light. Not sure which, or why..and don't care. They fixed for free!

 

My SRS light just came on my 03 CL and I called Acura and they told me Im out of warranty. Were you still under warranty?

 

Seatbelts are lifetime warrantied, so if that is what happens to be setting off the SRS light you get them fixed for free
