Double DIN receivers

I like this new clarion one...
one thats finally OEM (well not OEM) but its not as bizarre and outlandish as the other ones that have been out lately...

its very clean...

who else makes double DIN's?
post some pics/model numbers....

I like the Nakamichi Head units, very OEM looking but I dont think they make double DIN

I believe so... I remember doing a search on the japanese inspire, and saw they had a variety of double din units to choose from... they all look baddazz!

Does a new headunit help even if you have stock speakers?
Also yea tommy double din do fit.

Alpine makes a few nice Double DIN units. Check those out. You can always combine 2 Single DIN units together like mine. Heres a pic.

yeah new headunits with equalizers do help do better the sound quality.

If u look good enuff -- u should be able to get the 6-disc bank for like $300 & the HU for $250-$320

Hey -- the blau's are usually $225 to start for a decent HU and $300 for their in dash 5-disc....

Or this Alpine Unit...
3-Disc changer - unfortunately it uses Cartridges, but oh well...it has green illumination...

anyone know specs?

look at the pioneer p8800, its by far the best double-din unit i have seen. retail is 1k but you can find it for about 5 or 6 hundred.

it's a Nakamichi MD95-z...just checked...they still make them...but they're not available in U.S....
