Double Din Chinese Head Units

Anyone tried their luck with any of these?

I'm trying to find a 7" Touchscreen receiver that does video in, video out, GPS, Navigation, Bluetooth Audio, Handsfree phonee, Steering wheel control, HD Radio, etc without spending a bloody fortune.

Enter this little model, that fits the bill with the exception of HD Radio

Comparable feature set Kenwood, Pioneer, and Eclipse models are $1000+. This SOUNDS like a steal for $300....and I don't plan on using the internal amplifier...

Has anyone bought one of these yet and tried it?

Check out sonicelectronix. They have good prices on double dins. I got my Kenwood from there.

I'm not sure if I'd trust the reliability of that eBay one.

That's my worry - Ebay pricing on units is as good as if not better than sonic. There are some nice Eclipse Double Din 7 inch units - but no bluetooth, no card reader, no Digital TV tuner....etc - for MORE money than the one I listed.

Just curious if anyone's tried one out......

i have use them before and would not recommend it. the user interface is horrible, radio avg, sound avg, pix quality is ok. loading time is a bit of a wait. basically you get what you pay for.

It's also a Windows CE device with a very programmable processor. I code - I could probably write a decent interface for it - but if the hardware is junk....it's junk.

I'm all about a deal, but I'm apprehensive about this - probably rightfully so.
