im thinking about gettting a 03 cl type-s and i was wondering if you can install a double din install cause i have a pion premire 840mp and want to get the av7000dvd. do you think that will fit???

also does anyone know where i can get a service cd or manuel for the 03 cl-s and an 03 rsx-s..that tells you how to take stuff apart....

 

yeah you can fit 2 dins in the stock location... you probably could get away with a 3rd din if you wanted to.... as for the service manual go to www.helminc.com but they will set you back some grip... i think mine for my tl were like $100...

 

only real problem you'll encounter is that nobody (to date) makes a double-din faceplate for the 2nd gen CL. There are a couple of people on here who have paid to have custom double/single din faceplates made, and I believe Titand19 and Lou are playing around with something with a mind towards marketing, but again nothing you can currently purchase from any audio installer which is mass marketed.

The 03 CL Service Manual {61S3M02} sells for $69, and the 03 ETM (Electrical Troubleshooting Manual {61S3M02EL}) sells for $47, plus about $6 for shipping.
