Ok! just bought a pioneer avic d3, I’m about to install it over the weekend I was wondering do anyone knows where the VSS wire is located on a 1999 RL

 

Your Vehicle Speed Sense wire is BLUE/WHITE. You can find it at your PCM (Powertrain Control Module). Your PCM is mounted to the floor-board under the front passenger carpet. Have fun and good luck!

 

thanks man! the PCM is it the CPU board that mount under the front passenger carpet floor or would i be able to get behide the speed cluster

 

It will be much easier to grab the VSS wire at the PCM and not the cluster.

 

I appreciate the help man one more thing there are two blue/white wire, which one is it do you have a diagram or know where I can get a one

 

Sorry. I don't have a wiring diagram for that puppy. If I were doing the install I would tap both wires. Try one at a time and go for a drive. Whichever one shows a speed pulse while you're driving is the winner.
