correct amp to use

Ok so I have picked out my speakers for my 02 tl. I want to keep it clean and everything in its factory location so I have chosen:

Doors:
Pioneer ts-a1673r 6.5" speakers
4 ohm, 220w peak with 35w rms

Sub:
Pioneer ts-sw841d 8" shallow woofer (other posts on here of install.)
4 ohm 500w peak 120 rms

my question is that I want to use a 5 channel amp to power this. What would be some decent amps that are in the power range?

35 watts rms isn't very strong and not much better than stock although anything is better than stock, but the clarity you'll eperience will make it seem the same or even not as loud as stock. the sub you'll get a better response from but not much.

agreed. ive been researching my speaker setup for awhile now and EVERYONE(90%) agrees.. go w/an amazing front stage and dont even worry about the rear.

i heard a strong front stage / no rear audio setup and it sounded great. it was much easier to hear where the artist was standing during the recording.

btw - be sure to go component

W00t. We got another one to the darkside. The way to do it is no rear fill. Spend some more money on components for the front (good sounding comps can be had as cheap as $110 shipped, even less if you find some deals) and ditch the rears.
