In case anyone was interested, I recently posted a step-by-step process for converting DVD tracks to mutl-channel AAC/A4A files, including ID3 tags (so you can see the track/title/artist on your nav screen), that you can be used on a USB stick or iPod.

AAC is one of the default audio compression formats used by the iPod and the ELS Audio system and this process works great with the tech package!
