Clifford Alarm Owners -> Which features do I need?
Clifford Alarm Owners -> Which features do I need?
I have ordered a Clifford Concept600 and would like to know if the options given to me by the salesperson are correct. Basically, I want to know what options are actually useful.
-He said I should get the Concept600 versus some lower models(100,200,400) because it comes with dual zone omnisensor. He said with my tint(35%), the sensors on the lower models may not work optimally. Does this sound right?
-He also suggested the Digital Tilt/Motion Sensor to protect my rims.
I already got AutoLock and wanted to go with Clifford for some added security against vandalism and people taking stuff(HIDs, audio system, rims, etc). I wanted the AvantGuard4 but its a little too pricey for me. Also, whats a good price for the Concept600 for those who have it?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure if it depends too much on the alarm sensors but I have 20% on my car and my alarm sensors always worked. That sounds like a pitch to get you to spend more money. I don't have a clifford alarm but its only window tint, that shouldnt bother anything.
Omnisensor is both a shock sensor and a proximity sensor. You dont need another shock sensor. The salesman is full of complete sh!t. What does matter is if there is any time of metal in your tint: ie: Titanium or Copper. Digital Tilt sensor is diffrent than the motion sensor. You NEED the tilt sensor! I also have a glass break sensor.
You may want to get a dual zone adjustable proximity sensor, also known as a field distrubtion sensor, if you leave your windows or sunroof open alot.
