Kenwood EZ500 but the mcintosh is pretty much it. Otherwise you can get an original that came with the car & use a aftermarket kit to hook up a cd changer in your trunk.

I would recommend Custom Autosound HUs with changers... but I hear lately that they've started crashing left and right.

meh i've always hated custom autosound. Extremely overpriced/overrated for what is delivered.

u can always keep the old unit and place a new unit some where hidden like a glove box or armrest. i have seen some pretty clever systems in old cars like that. my g/f's dad has a 63 split window vette with a full system. you wouldn't even know from the looks of it.

I'm a big fan of the CD 400's looks... but I think it's 80's Mercedes more than 80's Cutlass.

We put one of those in a clean old Benz like once every two weeks. Lights match, plastic matches, sounds nice.

That has one nice looking, OEM-look interface. I'm not a fan of the "high-tech" obviously aftermarket head-units...this thing looks great. Any other ones out there? Nakamichi seems to be the only OEM-look headunit I've ever seen (though I have never researched it).
