theres an accesory you can get to make your steering wheel controls work for aftermarket units.. just personal experience I got a clarion dxz925 and I HATE it.. I always like clarion before I owned one but now that I've owned one I don't think I'll ever buy another clarion unit

I know exactly what you mean! I too would never buy another Clarion anything....ever. The Headunit I had (don't remember the model number....but it was in their Pro-audio line)...was strikingly beautiful, sounded really clean, but had absolutely NO BALLS! It didn't matter what I did to boost the Bass/mid-bass, it just sounded hollow. I've since then bought nothing but Alpine head units, and it would probably take something phenominal to get me to buy anything else.
