CL vs TL

How does the Bose sound system in the 2001 CL sound compared to the Bose sound system found in the 2002 TL's? Also, exactly where are the 6 speakers located in the CL? Thanks for your help!

CL: 2 tweeters, 2 6.5" in front doors, 2 6x9 on rear deck

TL: 4 speakers in 4 doors, 1 sub on rear deck.

The TL system has a little more bass and plays a little louder... my only experience is the loaner cars Acura gives me when they were doing warranty work on my car. Last I knew the TL also has the tweeters in the door sail panels.

Here's the reason

The reason I asked this question, is because it seems the general consensus on this board is that the stock sound system in the 2001 CL is awful. I have a friend that has 2002 TL, and I thought his system sounded great. Will I be disappointed in the CL system, after hearing the TL? Thanks!

Its really all a matter of preference... the stock system in both the CL and TL really does have good sound for a stock stereo. But it lacks all that music needs... it does have some decent bass, and theres some highs, not enough... but theres no midrange so the music sounds dull and lifeless... Bose has its ways of making a paper speaker sound somewhat decent... but thats all it is, cheap stuff with a high price tag so you "think" its good stuff. To be blunt about it... and as almost everyone here will tell you "Bose Blowz"! If you want very impressive sound, get a 4 chanel amp, some 6 1/2" components for the front and a good pair of 6x9's for the rear, and you will have excelent sound comming out of the stock head unit.

I think you need to check again. Stock TL does not have tweeters. If the loaner had it, it was extra, not stock.

EDIT
from Acura website.

...
Five speaker Acura/Bose® Music System, AM/FM stereo/cassette, 6 disc in-dash CD player, Dolby® Noise Reduction® (DNR) and anti-theft feature
