So I happily install my new PIE HON98-AUX that I ordered from Logjam Electronics and no dice. CD button does not switch over to the aux input.

Logjam tells me to contact PIE directly and now PIE wants the faceplate # of my facorty unit. The rep @ PIE is telling me that some of the units in our CL's do not work witht his HON98-AUX unit and there have been a few "issues." Wonderful.

Anyone run into this before with this PIE unit?

If so, what is your faceplate #? (I'm assuming he's talking about the model # or something on our headunits).

Although this isn't what you're looking for, let me suggest a similar unit. The USA SPEC PA11-HON (note: not the -HON2 model) may work for you. I haven't heard of someone testing it in a CL yet, but its for that generation of Honda factory stereo.

If you can return the PIE, you might want to try it.

 

I'm so pissed.... Logjam sends out another PIE unit and it doesn't work either.

I'm about ready to give adding XM to my '01 CL. I don't even have navi!

The model # on my headunit is 3pkO. Has anyone had any luck installing an auxiliary input on this model? I thought they all had the same model #.

I think I have to give up at this point. Logjam says if the PIE doesn't work then it's not likely anything else will. This sucks. I even have my XM unit already mounted in my suglass hodler.
