Cheaper than Optima batteries...

What do you think of this one for a second battery:

http://www.exideworld.com/products/m...eep_cycle.html

It's about $75 or so less than an Optima.

Is it the ONLY battery you're running? I'm looking at $175 for the Optima. That just seems too high for me.

I don't want to get a new alternator until I think that it's the last option. If I can get an orbital battery that will keep my lights from doing the whole strobe light thing every time my woofer hits...I'd be stoked!!!

Thanks.

I have a 98 tl and am running 2 amps, my problem is that I have a 1200X1 kicker on my jl13w7 and my check engine light just came on, should i look into another battery for that or just upgrade my battery up front?

I just got a Optima Yellow Top installed at Sears today for $190. I know its kinda steap but I was at the mall, and my car was giving me hard times when starting. Problem solved.

How much did they charge you for the install ?....im just curious because its not that hard ......its like paying someone to change your tire..... i cant see paying someone for something that i can do myself .

The Battery was $169.99 plus tax and 12.95 for the service. O yea and $1.25 for some kinda fee. IT all came out to be $197. and some change.

i dont think the check engine light is related to the charging system unless your alternator is shot. i have a 1200.1 and a 600.4 as well and my ck engine light never came on, i have redtop and lights dim, but still no light comes on...
