cd player won't play burned cds

I have a 02 tl and every time I try to play a burned cd it takes forever to load. I put the same cds in any other player and it reads right away. What's with the cd player? Any adveice as to why this happens?

I had the same problem, eventually my orginal cds would take a bit longer to load, so i brought it to the dealer and they gave me a new one under warranty. Try burning ur cds at a lower speed and try using diff cd-r brands, it works for me.

So far I don't have that problem. If my cds don't play in regular stereos (after i burned them incorrectly) then obviously it will show an error msg when put into the acura player...maybe try switching CD-burning programs and see if the problem persist??

My burned cds play fine in every other cd player I've tried..BMW.Infinity and assorted boom boxes etc. There has to be some problem with the Acura players.

Same here... and the ones that work the best are the Memorex BLACK ones... I can burn'em at high speed (over 24) and still plays fine.

Memorex all black are the only ones that will play for me. Maybe the other ones are too bootleg or something.

yeah the black ones do work for me, but I cant find them anymore!!!! grrr.... I hate this god forsaken cd player. I've gone ghetto and put a portable CD player in my TL with a tape adaptor!!!! Isn't it awful? I hate it.

Don't waste your time with slow burning or different cd brands. I tried for 8 months and finally decided to get a cd player. all my cd-rs work now.

I have a 99TL and the Philips CD-R 80 min./700MB media have some problems tracking. However, the TDK CD-R 650MB/74min work fine. The TDK 650MB/74min. media should work for you.

I just recently bought a 2000 TL and i noticed the same problem. A fix to that problem that i did was i converted my mp3 files into WAV format and then burned it at 4x on to my cd-r. I currently use memorex cd-r's. After doing that, i havent had any problems playing cd's in my car anymore. Hope that help some of you.

i ALWAYS do this too, maybe just out of habit from back when i had a slower machine. not sure if this helps as far as this issue is concerned, but i do know i NEVER had any trouble with cdr's in my 03 TLS...

I tried different software (EZCD and Nero), different speeds (4x to 40x), and different formats (CD Copy, creating an audio CD). The problem is the discs. I bought the "Audio CD-R" discs, thinking they might work better, but they actually eject from the player after I put them in.

I brought it into the dealer today, they told me to stop playing burned discs. Would it behove me to insist on them replacing the unit? And if they did, wouldn't they just replace it with another deficient one? My dealer said that they replace peoples units if a CD gets stuck, but they will only make the replacement once, under warranty. Well, I haven't had any CDs stuck thankfully. But he also won't give me a new unit .

It is not the player... usually it isn't. You just have to find the right discs that the player likes. My ***** sony dvd player is so gawd damn picky. my apex is nice, he loves every type of cdr.

Just burn your cd's with nero 5, any updated version, i burn my audio cd's at 52x and they play fine in my 03 acura tl-s
One of the biggest problems when cd's wont play is the medium, i use memorex's sonys, and tdk's

I use Memorex CD's, and use Nero to burn the CD at 8x...and so far I've never had a problem. Only once did the CD Player not read it, so I got a little worried, but then tried it in my van, and home CD player, and it didn't play either, so I figured it was the CD that was messed.

My cd's load the same speed as regular ones.
