yes and no.... ok im sorry... you can run your stock door speakers with an aftermarket headunit but you will loose the stock sub... not really a big loss... now if you were electrically inclided then you could get ahold of the wiring schematic for the tl audio system and splice a couple of wires and probably retain the stock sub... but the only thing needed to retain the stock door speakers is the 98 and up honda accord wiring harness from metra... i am not just saying this cuz i have heard that someone else did it.. i personally changed my headunit and keep the stock bloze speakers while i was saving up some more money to finish my system...i know have upgraded all my speakers and it sounds so much better....

so if i change my headunit i need the wiring harness and i'll lose my stock sub. Also, do i need an amp b/c of the ohm difference?

yes you will need the metra wiring harness (# 70-1721)... and you aftermarket headunit should be able to handle the wimpy stock door speakers.. but if you upgrade door speakers then i would suggest an amp...

and yes with this wiring harness you will loose the stock sub... unless you are so inclided to do a little modifications...
