I cannot locate this connection int he trunk and not too sure how to remove the HU to get the connection. please help...i ahev all the cables and adapter needed to hook it up.

thanks

Connection is on the back of the in-dash (it is more than 8-pin). Acura did not pre-run the cable in these cars. You need to remove the center console to get the deck out. Then plug in your adapter, run the cable, and mount the changer.

Good luck!

It's kind a hard to explain in text......

Basically, you remove the back part of the console (that has the armrest/storage compartment) to get to the screws that hold the front part. Then remove all of the screws in the front part of the console (has the transmission shifter in it and goes up around the radio). I remember that there is a hidden screw up behind the ashtray. Once all of the screws are out it should unsnap. The radio will have two screws in the backet below the pocket and the pocket and radio will come out as one unit. Reinstall by reversing the steps.

Sorry, I couldn't describe it in more detail. Hope this helps.
