I had an idea of using my navigation screen as my lcd for the carputer. I was thinking about building a little box computer and mounting it in my car.. and having wirless keyboard and mouse setup for them... i really dont think it would be a costly setup to do, but i want your input on this matter. oohh and i would have to install the nav setup to use it as a monitor.. I would just go buy the carputer thingy but its way to expensive and im poor lol.

 

Pm me, I can get you a new one at pretty good price for the same project. I made one for myself and only used it for 2 days. It really didn't suit me as I rarely had time to use the carputer and found myself just walking to campus and back really.
