Car Audio AMP questions for CLS

I have two kicker comp vr 12"s and I am thinking of putting one of them in my car. I have a 2001 CLS w/NAV. I want the installation to be a neat as possible, and want to keep all my original stock stuff. I also want the sound quality to be as high as possible. All I want to do is compliment my cars audio with some bass. I have a few questions hopefully someone can help me out as I am a newbie to this field:

1. What type of box should I get for one speaker? I want to maximize my trunk space so I can still put luggage and stuff if I need to.

2. What type of AMP should i get? I was thinking rockford fosgate, but since I am a newbie, I dont know which brand is good, and what not. Should I get one with speaker level inputs??? what other considerations should I bear in mind with this? I know I need a amp with only 1 channel cause I only have one speaker..

3. Should I just put both of them in there? I want bass, but not too much.

4. Should i just sell these speakers and get the basslink by infinity?

Thanks

sell the speakers and get a bass link!! If you want to save space, and add just some good low end to a stock system, its the easiest way to go. The bass link takes up only like 1 cubic foot of space and has the amp built in. There are speaker level inputs right on it, so that solves that problem, just wire it to the rear speakers. When you use the speaker inputs, the amp automatically turns on when there is a signal present, so you don't even need a remote turn on wire. Then all you have to do is run a 10 gauge power wire (with a fuse near the battery) to the battery and ground the unit and mount it to the floor so it dosent move. They really sound GREAT for the size of the thing. Its not gonna set off car alarms or be heard a block away... but it does add good, clean and fairly loud bass in the car. I definatly recomend it... I have put them in SUV's and still have them sound great!
