Can an iPod car kit damage the iPod
This has been rolling around in the back of my head for a while, I'd like input from anyone who is knowledgeable here.
Can an iPod car adapter damage the iPod over time, ie through voltage spikes when turning on the car while the iPod is connected. I use a Belkin auto kit for my iPod , but I've been nervous about this for a while so to be safe I keep my iPod disconnected from it at all times except when listening to music, and I unplug it before turning my car on or off.
A certain unnamed member here
told me that the poor sound quality from my old iPod could have resulted from keeping it plugged into the Belkin thing all the time, which I did. Is this all crazy talk and I'm being paranoid by keeping my new iPod unplugged, or is this a legitimate concern. Thanks.
