I JUST BOUGHT TWO AMP WIT 2 SUB THINKING OF INSTALL IT IN MY CLS 01 ANY ONE KNOW IF I NEED A LOC? OR ALREADY HAS A AMPOUT ALRADY IN TEH STOCK BOSS SOUND SYSTEM

ALSO WHICH ONW SHOULD I USE 1 OR 2 TO WIRE MY AMP ?
WHICH ONE WILL PRODUCE MORE POWER ? WHICH ONE SOUND BETTER
1. Get a line output converter (loc), hook it to the leads coming off the rear speakers and then plug it into the rca inputs on your amp.
2. splice the leads coming from the head unit before you get to the factory amp and put RCA plugs on them. You can then plug those into the rca inputs on your amp. You'll probably need a ground loop isolator if you do it this way.

I have three amps running with the stock system. I used your 1st method for the sub amp and your second method for the other 2 amps running my front and rear speakers. No noise and it sounds great. I didn't need a ground loop isolator though.
