I recently installed two 12" subs with an amp and now i get loud obnoxious whining noise. It dies down only when i turn the volume up...ive tried re grounding the system and the head unit itself. Nothing seems to help it what so ever....


Any thoughts?????

 

It sounds like it might be road noise or interferrance. Make sure the power and the remote wires are as far away from the RCA's as possible. That should fix the buzzing sound.

 

Does the whining sound change with application of the gas pedal? If so, you have a ground loop problem. You need to ground your head unit and amps directly to the -ve terminal of the battery.
