MDX: Broken prongs in AV input jacks

Broken prongs in AV input jacks
My wife likes to leave her IPOD plugged into the AV Inputs behind the center console. Not the best thing to do with kids. The prongs snapped off in the jack and I am looking for any ideas on how to get them out.
The other option is replacing the jacks themselves. Has anyone had taken apart the back of the center console?
Any help would be appreciated.
