Well im def thinking of taking off my spoiler for awhile. I am wondering if i can just do some kinda cap for now to seal the holes up. Later ill buy another trunk lid weld some plates in and fill the void with metal then paint it all up. But need a cheap quick solution for now. Any ideas?

Ok Matt this is for you here is beats for my van sub got a lil stinky on this one lol. I took off the wing today it doesnt look the best but it does help with rattle. The only rattle you hear now is the trunk lid trying to fly off the car. Nothing else man does this bish beat

Thanks Brian. And yeah, that song can make a sub stinky quick if you don't watch it. Fortunately, I'm only using like 500w or so to get into the mid 30s using that song. I had a little fun playing around with a clamp meter this past weekend at the comp when it was around 15 degrees...

Well I got a song off Itunes Ren da heat monsta song all American(been wanting it for quite awhile but im cheap lol). After playin it for a few times for demos i popped open my trunk and I broke a weld the right side where the hinge bolts to the lid the weld broke and the bolt has come out lol. Most would be pissed hell im proud. I plan on buying another trunk lid and filling in the wing holes and adding more bracing to it for less movement.

Well I removed everything from the car today even all the wiring. Im sick and tired of this 18 destroying my car. So i guess im gonna sell it off. If I do something else maybe a pair of 8's for some good sound quality and low space

2 1508's in a nice box off the 2k should work alright.... Or you could sell the amp and get something a bit smaller for the 1508s. Or Sundown sa-8s should be out soon, and those a beastly.

Yea thats what im thinking. or maybe 3-4 e8's something on that line. My amp would be fine for a few as long as I set the gains. IM set on amps right now I have a 100.2 50.4 1500d and a 2000d all sundown amps sittin in my garage lolz it looks like sundown heaven especially with the e8's I have for my buddys build and my 18

Well after having my system out of my car for a few days... I couldnt take it any more it had to go back in until i sell it. I made things look better with wiring and such. Had to turn the 50.4 cockeyed as didnt have enough room. But it's hidden by the seat anyways. And before you guys start sayin ur not suppose to mount amps to boxes. I have rubber between them. And if the yfry who cares still got right at 2 years of waranty on them. And yes it's covered.

Here a shot of my latest box builds

Well I have to say I think that the 18 was realllly bad ass so well done dude

but I don't get why anyone would want this much bass outside of competition

to me it seems like your just adding more vibrations to make the car fall apart fast haha

Oh well I must be in the wrong sub-forum

Lol yea at least I tried going without it. Your right it is pointless but I do intend on competing from now and then. I really just wanted a killer daily ground pounder. I love seeing people grabbing their ears when the bass hits lolz. And yea it is making the car fall apart as the broken welds in the trunk lid will have to be adressed soon haha.
I'm glad I got all that work in yesterday cuz now it's raining like hell. I just started building a box for a guy with a 15" tc-3000. Should be pretty nasty also.
