box instructions

Hey is there anywhere i can get some instructions on making a .6 cubic inch box for my sub or should i just get a q logic? I wanted to make one to save money and because i wanted a flat front (q logic has an angled one) so i could make a wall type thing with my amp mounted in it (like Crazy Acura's old setup). I just wanted alittle more bass so i went with an infinity kappa 10" with a 600 watt (max) pioneer amp. Would a sealed or ported box be better? sorry for my ignorance but thanks for any input you guys have

I think it's better and cheaper to buy a pre-made box. Just make sure you get the one that has the right volumn. It's not easy to make a box. Sealed or ported depends on your taste. With sealed, you get lower volume but tigher bass. Ported is louder but looser bass.

Thanks Spiro Im so happy i saved all that money especially if it is a nice box and it has a flat front which i wanted. I was just flipping thru crutchfield and found out it would have cost me $104 dollars for that stuff now i have like an extra 50 bucks to throw at my car whooo hooo

Awesome. I already made a cardboard cut out for my wall thingy and the angled front of the q logic was going to throw it off. Would have had to made something to prop the back of the box up to make it flush with the wall. Now all i need is some wood and carpet to make the wall thing. Any ideas on wood type for it? thanks again

I would guess plywood or some MDF board...not sur tho...you also might want to wait till you get the box before you start on the wall thing so you know all the mesurments will be right!

Q-Logic Sucks. Just go get a (1) 10's 3/4 Inch MDF Sealed box. And throw that sucker in there. Should cost you under 45 bucks for that. Q-Logic is only good for kick panel's even there speaker grills suck .... ported might be louder, defiently look into it, but im positive the box would be bigger.
