Bought the JL BOX with 2 10" W3 V2s need hookup advice

Guys, I just bought the box and subs. I still need to figure out what amp I can get for a good price (any ideas?). But what should I do to hook it up to the stock stereo correctly so it sounds good? I did a search and found some get the signal before the stock amp, and some after. Which one is right?!

If you want the cleanest sound possible... before.

If you want the easiest way... after.

I have mine hooked up before the amp, with rca plugs spliced onto the new wires plugged into the line level inputs of my amp.

Sounds great!

I can just tap into it with a line level converter right? I have one that is called PAC, it was for my 98 Maxima I had a while back to connect into the stock bose. That should work I believe on this car.

Before the amp, no LOC needed. The signals are line level, just solder a pair of RCA cables to the stock wires.

After the amp, LOC needed.

Hey Silverknight, this is unrelated to SilverBullet's question (sorry SilverBullet), but I was wondering how you like the Blaupunkt head unit and changer I sold you a while back?

It was fine. I put the head unit in but not the changer. But I sold them since I didn't like to have my full screen unit exposed. The reflective silver faceplate screams "steal me." Now I got the stock HU in with the screen in the Post-It Note holder slot again.
