yo sup...i was wonderin is there anyway i can just put a new aftermarket Sub where the bose sub would be...I think the bose is a 8inch...so i was wonderin if i went with a Jl Audio W6??..and if i want to use another amp..do i have to rewire the new amp or can i spilt the wirin from the bose amp??

 

I'm pretty sure you could just replace the stock speak w/ a JL. however, I feel that a single 10 in a box w/ an amp will treat you better.

Would love to know what others have done...either replacing the woofer w/ a JL or equivalent or keeping the stock bose speaker and adding a sub and amp.

Very interested to know some other setups for ideas, when keeping stock head unit and peripheral speakers.

there not enough room for a w6...right under the woofer is a bar...you would need a very shallow subwoofer....also..one that runs on free air...the w6 woint do that....and anyway..its not worth it..the improvment would suck
